One of the most important steps in achieving the goal of increasing international visibility in the field of higher education is to be at the top of the rankings made by international rating institutions. While determining their rankings, these rating agencies take into account criteria such as academic indicators of the university, citations to its publications, employment capacity, as well as data such as international teaching, recognition and the number of international students within the university. Within the scope of these criteria, it is important that highly qualified academicians and students prefer our university in order to achieve a better position in the rankings of rating institutions. It should be ensured that the classrooms, laboratories and practice areas, where academicians and students will continue their studies and study, comply with international standards.
Although the campus area of our universities contains enough space for the audience it addresses, it is also a fact that the social, sanitary and vital areas do not meet the international standards sufficiently. These areas also need to be brought to international standards. Updating and increasing the accessibility of the English web pages of all our units, writing the on-campus signposts in Turkish and English, including campus maps in the electronic environment, and developing and opening online student-friendly applications on the web page will contribute to the international recognition of our universities.
The participation of our universities in various international events and organizations, updating the promotional materials (booklets, brochures, etc.) used in these events, presenting them in different language options, and visiting high-level incoming/outgoing delegations will contribute to the internationalization goals. For this purpose, it participates in various fairs every year. In these fairs, our University is introduced to international students who want to study at our University; Information about the application, preferences and placement procedures of the international student exam is given.
Within the scope of Erasmus and Mevlana Exchange program, visits are made to universities with bilateral agreements in order to increase the number and quality of those who benefit from mobility; efforts are made to increase the number of agreements by participating in various meetings, fairs and congresses. In particular, stands are set up at internationally recognized meetings such as EAIE (International Education Association), NAFSA and APEI. In this context, it is thought that the increase in the number of fairs promoted will directly contribute to all dimensions of internationalization.
Considering the determined target countries, it is aimed to increase the participation of the fair, to update the design and content of the web page that is the gateway of our universities to the outside world, to prepare promotional materials and promotional products, and to ensure the number of memberships and active participation in international organizations.
In this context, promoting with the right method at the right time is one of the most important missions of us as studyea.net, for our universities to take place in the international arena and to prove themselves.
